The provisions for working as a hiking guide and for the preparation courses and exams for hiking guides have been introduced by the South Tyrolean government with decision no. 629 on June, 14th 2016.
Hence, the professional chamber of South Tyrolean mountain and ski guides holds a special directory of guides. Hiking guides can apply to be listed in the directory, if they fulfil the respective prerequisites described in the implementing provisions of the regional government.
The education for registration in the special register takes place according to the law.
We work together with the educational institutions Lichtenburg and Kloster Neustift.
